who is the bush goddess?

Who is the Bush Goddess?

pennie scott is a regenerative farmer, protector of landscapes, lover of ecologies, scholar, writer and author, permaculture gardener, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother.  She is from the land and cares deeply about how our precious mama earth is loved and cared for. pennie is an advocate for soil carbon farming and educating people through their mouths so they learn from experiences which highlight their senses and intelligence.

Locally Sourced from the Central West of NSW

I collaborate with local family-owned farms and food co-ops to bring lovingly grown products directly to you, guaranteeing the freshest possible ingredients with which to create the Bush Goddess Feasts.

Eighty per cent of the foods are from local farms within 100kms.

Our Local Food Economy

When I buy directly from the farmer or maker, that money stays in

your local economy. These dollars then flow through my small  hometowns of Canowindra and Cowra up to seven times, adding exponential value to

that first dollar spent by our beloved visitors.  Viva la local!

Delice Cafe - Canowindra

Delice Cafe, 18 Tilga Street, Canowindra is a bright new food-star in our fab little town.  In addition to truly fine and classic delicatessen items (cheeses, cured meats), the curated range of grocery items AND produce grown only a few kilometres away are available.  The coffee is brilliant and the vibes warm and exciting.  Opening hours: 0800 - 1630 Monday to Friday.  Lunches and sweeter items all made on site.

The Cook + The Wino

The Cook (pennie scott the Bush Goddess) and The Wino, Sam Statham, combine their love of artisan and hand-crafted foods and Rosnay wines in events held at the Rosnay Organic Vineyard cellar door.

'Feasting in Wiradjuri Country', the 'Post-Pandemic Pink-Piccolo Pyro-Platter Party' and "Canowindra's Covid Cabaret' were marvelous events hosted in 2020 in spite of periodic lock-downs through the year.

The new Cellar Door officially opened in September 2022 and is the scene of wonderful gatherings, cultural events, art exhibition openings, small conferences and workshops.
